The “Rev Up Reading” program is designed to entice students to read four books outside the curriculum their teachers have created. Teachers sign off on a special bookmark the students use to track the books they read. Each bookmark has a voucher on the back allowing parents to purchase tickets at half price for their school’s scheduled game night. The program is open to all public, private and home-schooled students. Program rewards also include a pre-game parade for students, free lawn tickets for participating teachers, and half-price tickets for participating students’ families. The top four schools with the most student participation will win an assembly with mascot DownTown and an autograph session with select Revolution players. Rev Up Reading! kickoff assemblies are also available. For more information contact Marketing Manager Tim Beckwith at (717) 801-4486.
